The annual Year 10 trip to Paris is in the early stages of planning. This
is an extremely exciting experience for those who participate. This year
60 students and seven teachers are making the trip to the world’s
most beautiful city. They will take time out for a day in Disneyland.
They will also have time to visit Versailles and the Eiffel Tower. Shopping
on the Champs Elysees is also planned.

Previous Trips
Paris 2010
70 staff and students bid 'au revoir' and set off for Paris in May 2010.
The long weekend included coach trips, a cruise on the Seine and an action
packed day in Disneyland. Finally a tour of the Louvre preceded a shopping
trip to La Defense on Monday before a tired and happy group returned after
a real 'bon voyage'. |
Tarvisio 2002
A group of 49 took to the slopes of Tarvisio, high up in the Italian Alps. Most of the group spent more time lying in the snow than
skiing on it. Luckily the only injury was their damaged pride. In between skiing, there was plenty of time for shopping and eating
in the town of Tarvisio.
|
Barcelona 2002
A group of 67 staff and students embarked on a 5 day tour of the city. From their base in Lloret de Mar, they enjoyed guided tours
of the coast, the Nou Camp Stadium, the Olympic Village and other notable areas of interest. Las Ramblas proved popular with its
street entertainment as did the visits to Port Aventura - one of Europe’s newest theme parks, Parc Guell and Placa de
Catalunya.
|
Konigssee 2001
A combined group of 97 enjoyed a superb and most active Christmas / New Year holiday in the beautiful ski resort of Konigssee.
|
Venice, Padua, Florence, Montecatini & Pisa 2001
121 students and teachers opted for a 6 day tour of Italy, visiting the cities of Venice, Padua, Florence, Montecatini and Pisa.
The group visited famous landmarks such as St. Marks Square and explored the main street of Venice by gondola.
|
Other highlights included the Basilica of St. Anthony, Michelangelo's marble statue of David, the famous Ponte Vecchio and of course the Leaning
Tower of Pisa.
|
Rome, Perugia & Assisi 2000
This Millennium Tour proved extremely popular. Highlights included visits to the newly restored Sistine Chapel, the Imperial Forum
and the spectacular Colesseum. The group were guests at a spectacular ceremony in St. Peters Square attended by the Pope and the
Dali Lama. After visiting Perugia, the undoubted memory of the trip was the visit to Assisi and the Basilicas of St. Francis and
St. Clare. Time was also spent at San Damiano, the convent where St. Clare founded the Poor Clare Order.
