Parenting Partnerships
Choosing your daughter's school is not just choosing the School where you feel she will flourish, but also choosing a school with
which you feel you and your family can work together in her best interests. It is impossible for any school to give an effective
education without working in partnership with the parents. This takes place in a number of ways :
- School reports are issued twice a year
- Parent / teacher meeting for every student once a year
- Annual General Meeting once a year
- Prize giving for GCSE and A Level students
- Bi-annual School Opera
- School Rule Book
The guidance staff provide support and encouragement to the girls and show their commitment to the parents, with whom we are all in
partnership, working together to develop the girls' abilities. Parents can make contact with the School regarding any concerns
which they may have. They are also contacted by the School to inform them of events in the school calendar and they are invited
to examine the school diary and make comments if necessary. Meetings with parents are arranged prior to any school trips.
Policy documents on bullying, pastoral care and homework are issued.
