SHS students have a lot to be proud of this week. The U14 Camogie Team are now through to the Ulster Quarter Finals. The Junior Drama Club won the Kevin Neary cup and Senior students won the Declan Bell cup in Newry Feis this week. Jennifer Harbinson, Year 12 won the Best Moment of Theatre award and Sarah O'Hanlon and Annabelle Heaney, both Year 8 students, came first in the recitations. Also three SHS students, Aine Cassidy, Matilda Kinney and Victoria Irvine were in the winning team in the Newry & Mourne Inter School Quiz...

Sacred Heart GS Student is UK Under 21 Show Jumping Champion! Casey Webb, a GCSE student in SHS, was the winner of the Under 21 UK Winter Show Jumping Final in Warwickshire on Saturday 6th April. This is a significant achievement for the 16 year old local girl from Tamnaghbane Road, Killeavy. It is the culmination of years of hard work and commitment to her sport. ...

Sacred Heart Grammar School is pleased to announce that Treasa Mc Kinley, Form 8C, won the Environmental Youth Speak Competition 2013. Treasa won the local council heat in which all 26 Councils in Northern Ireland participated, she then progressed to regional level and went on from there to be crowned the Northern Ireland Champion. She spoke for 5 minutes on the topic: The True Cost of Waste. Treasa won £500 for our school, a range of personal goodies including a KINDLE and the coveted title! ...
