I have just logged on to the shs website and would like to let you all know that the hard work and dedication that has gone into devising it has not gone unnoticed! Its been 5 years since I attended the school and have not had the opportunity to return since then so visiting the site has let me feeling very nostalgic! Im actually missing it now! Would like to say to special thank you to Sr Julie who was my form teacher for several years and who injected lots of humour into some very mundane days! Everyone was delighted you got the Principal's post even if it was after our time! Typical!
Congratulation for your site. I was a French assistant in 1988/1989 and I'm quite glad to hear from SHS. At that time Sr Mark was the Head, Sr Julie one of my colleagues and Sean Treanor, the best boss! au revoir et continuez ainsi.

Hi to all in SHS and congratulations on a great website (it definitely keeps me entertained at work!). Reading what some of the 7th years have written has brought many memories back for me and I would like to wish them all the best of luck for the future. I can’t believe it was only this time three years ago that I said goodbye to the SHS – so much has happened that it seems like so much longer! I have many fond memories of the school and I would like to say hello to all the teachers that put up with me for seven years – I’m due a visit soon I think! Keep up the brilliant work on the website! Elena xx

I am finding it difficult at the moment to accept that my years in Sacred Heart have come to an end. I would like to give a personal thanks to everyone who has helped me and guided me on my seven year journey. Thanks eveyone.

My years in the Sacred Heart school have now come to an end. I recognise that this is a very emotional time for everyone but for me it is an extremely emotional time. I feel very sad and I know that on Thursday i will not be able to hide my true feelings or hold back the tears. Each tear will represent a moment, and each moment in my life at the Sacred Heart will be a memorable one. Thank you all, teachers, students and staff for making my moments happy ones.

I am so devestated to be leaving the Sacred Heart on Thursday, the past 7 years have been the most fantastic years of my life and nothing will ever live up to it. I will really miss all the teachers and Sr Julie because they have been so fantastic and given me so much knowledge. It will be difficult to hold the tears back on our last day on Thursday. Good luck to everyone in your exams.

It is unfortunate that we are finishing at the Sacred Heart so soon. We dont feel ready to leave because the school has provided a great amount of support to us and fellow students. We will miss Sr Julie, teachers and all staff! we do look foward to the future but will still value and cherish all the moments that we have shared with the Sacred Heart. Thank you everyone for making our seven years the best times of our lives. Thank you all.
i think that the time capsule is a really good idea, now in 25 years time people can look at it and see what life was like for us! well done to the council for thinking it up! x
