We are pleased to announce that the Sacred Heart Netball teams have this year finished a busy season with two NI titles.
The Minor (U13) Team won the Millen Bowl beating Thornhill Grammar School, Derry 26 goals to 8 in the Final.
The Senior Team made school history by winning the Premier League Cup. This was a remarkable achievement as only the top seeded netball teams compete at this level and the girls had very tight victories over Our Lady’s and St Patick’s College, Knock and Methodist college Belfast and their campaign to retain the League title.
The School would also like congratulate our past pupil, and wonderful ambassador for netball, Caroline O’Hanlon, on being selected to lead the NI Team in the recent Commonwealth Games. We are very proud of Caroline and wish her and the NI Netball Team every success in the Gold Coast Games.
